馬總統說，不久前德國一個基金會公布台灣在政治轉型得到全球第3名，經濟轉型得第1名。「一定會有人說，馬總統，這是你自我感覺良好」，這不是自我感覺良好，而是「國際叫好」。
馬總統上午到台中市外埔區台灣道教總廟無極三清總道院，出席啟建護國祈安植福息災大法會及台灣區第19屆中原盃書法比賽，上百名主祭依禮舉行法會，過程莊嚴，前立法委員顏清標等人與會。
馬總統表示，9年前選總統時，曾在這裡住過1晚，見識到道教在台灣非常旺盛的發展。就任總統後，第6度出席祈福大典，每次看到鄉親為國家祈福的誠意，就覺得非常感動。
馬總統說，中華民族歷史上，道教、佛教及儒家結合在一起，代表非常重要的宗教融合，尤其中華民族5000年歷史，從未發生宗教戰爭，宗教一向包容。
馬總統前往書法比賽會場勉勵參賽者，也揮毫寫下「弘法化育」4字。1050327
